Exclamation Fuel Injection to Carb swap..'95 F-150

i would like to know if anyone knows what all is involved in swapping a fuel injection system to a carb. Im looking to get rid of the computer, wiring, smog pump, and emission system. any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

In case everyone is wondering, I'm turning the truck into a Street/Strip truck. I'm doing the swap because I can't really afford the parts for the EFI motor. Don't get me wrong, I know that their not usually meant for racing, but we have alot of imports in North Carolina and I'm out to show them what horsepower is. I dont want to invest into another truck, simply for the reason that it was my grandfather's. I already have the intake, carb, and 32 Gal Fuel Cell. Also does anyone know if that can be insured for street use after emissions are gone???

why ? its would probably be at the very least 10x cheaper to find an old carbureted rig... plus... isn't that going backwards ? Whatever floats your boat i guess, but your going to have a hard time finding aftermarket parts for the project. The demand for something like this is probably really low. Custom may be the only way to go, but I am not sure. Good luck to ya bud.

You need to do the following changes and maybe more.
Replace the intake manifold.
Select a carburator.
Get the proper transmission contol hardware.
A disrtibutor with centrifigal advance built in.
An ignition box to fire a coil.
Make a fuel system change to low pressure fuel feed, the carb needs to have.
And all the little supporting pieces.

Tell me where you are I'll swap you everything you need if your close enough, I have an '87 with a brand new holley 4bbl (approx 500 miles) damn carb cost me 450.00 CAD...what I need is everything to convert mine to fuel injection, including the computer, high pressure fuel pump, etc...the conversion will cost you about 10-20 hp and you'll probably have to run premium gas...FI engines have slightly higher compression..............I'm assuming you have a 351, BTW my reason for wanting EFI is, reliability, hp, cold start, mpg
