Spark Plugs and Seafoam

Anyone run Seafoam through their motor? I hear the stuff works magic on carbon buildup. I am wondering if this would help clean up the carbon prior to attempting to change my plugs on my 05 5.4 FX4.

I use it all the time on many Ford trucks, it does a great job of de-carbonizing. Follow the instructions.

Have you guys changed your plugs? Did you notice less carbon on the electrode shield?

I ran it through mine, however, didn't do the entire bottle through the engine. I put it in the gas. I changed the plugs after the tank was emptied. I didn't break any either!

Nolo,

Your plugs looked pretty clean when you took them out. Did you run the Seafoam through your PCV vac line?

Nope. Just through the gas tank.

And I got about 16mpg on the highway. Doing about 80'ish.
