im just wondering something about my PS pump. i have a replacement sitting in the garage and im tempted to just replace the one on the truck. But heres the problem, the PS pump in my truck is the factory pump with 57k on it and it squeals like all hell when its cold, say 30 degrees or colder although when its warmer than that it makes little or no noise at all. I know its the pump because when it does squeal i can turn the wheel and the noise goes away while the wheel is moving.

i have searched excessivly on the "whine" these trucks make and i have posted sound clips. just seems weird the truck only whines this bad when its cold.
