whic cold air intake for the 5.4l

which cold air intake would be the best one for an 05 5.4l

AF1 3.0" without a tune. AF1 3.5 w/a tune. The tuner combo is much better. If I had a 2004+ model, I would go that route for the most possible benefits. IMO the 2004+ models are under tuned from the factory anyway.

i have the aem cold air intake and i am happy with it. i chose this one because it has a dry filter rather than an oiled one.

The best "cold air intake" would be the stock one. As far as the best intake for power I'd say its my AF1 3.5". I saw lower IAT with the stocker.

That's what I use - Stock cold air box w/ bigger pipe at the fender. 3"ID
