put it like your connecting it, wiggle it, twist it, spray penetrating oil on it. I had best luck with the plastic disconnect tool

Cool

HI!... I just use the normal fuel line disconnect tools. Sometimes you have to giggle it or even push it tighter together with the FLD tool inserted. If it's never been off before they tend to be tight. Just make sure not to tear or damage the "O" rings.

ok they are tight and the local shop wants to charge me an hour minimum ($66 plus tax) to do the work I tried to haggle them into 1/2 an hour but they "will see what they can do" and wan't me to leave the truck with them all day

do i need to release the pressure first? I changed the injectors without releasing the pressure and the rags i had down captured all the leaked fuel

Do NOT let them touch your truck. You can get it.

If you can some how push both connectors together and push on the tool and turn it one full turn on the line it should unlock the lines. Easier said than done.

Auto Zone have the line disconnect tool they show in the service manual. It's a kit with color coded sizes - there not that expensive, just hard to find.

These disconnects fully enclose over the spring clamp and are big enough to get the proper leverage you need. It's a PITA with those little ones.

These are round made of hard plastic and also hinged. I can't locate them on the Internet or I would post a link.

If you have a Haynes or Chilton's Manual - I believe there used in there illustrations as well.
