Whistle sound
Whistle sound
I dont have any kind of intake mods on my truck, but when i floor the gas, when it gets to higher rpm, it starts making a whistling sound....anyone know what this is? Is something loose?

It is pretty important that people know what ya got in general. What year, motor, 4x4, what mods are done.
If it is a brand new 08 I would have no idea, but somone with a 08 might. Build a sig that way it is always there.

My 02 does the same thing and it's normal. Most likely just a large amount of CFM's going through a small hole or even the throttle plate may be causing it ??
When I hear it, that just tells me the motor is starting to find it's sweet spot and it's time to start passing everybody in sight
