Is it a used truck, someone might have removed your silencer. Need to put your truck details on there so people know what to tell you.

It is pretty important that people know what ya got in general. What year, motor, 4x4, what mods are done.
If it is a brand new 08 I would have no idea, but somone with a 08 might. Build a sig that way it is always there.

This does it after the truck is warm, as i always let it warm up to operating temp before i take off.

I do regular maint. on it....but i havent really counted how many miles its been since it started, i know its been awhile now, but it only happens when you slam "pedal to the metal" kinda like air sucking in, but somewhere up towards the tb.....i dunno....doesnt happen on any other acceleration.

My 02 does the same thing and it's normal. Most likely just a large amount of CFM's going through a small hole or even the throttle plate may be causing it ??

When I hear it, that just tells me the motor is starting to find it's sweet spot and it's time to start passing everybody in sight

Have you looked at your throttle plate, maf, or intake. How about making sure there is no leak into the intake by the throttle body.

Listen for it while the hood is up. I found one by taking off the cover to the throttle body and listining as i manuely moved the throttle.

Ok, thanks for the help. I think its getting worse with a possible leak after i pulled a circle burnout in the dirt the other day and after i stopped, the rpm's dropped way down almost to a stall.
