well if i were to go out in the cold, swap out my stock packs for my msd's i got sitting here i could tell you if i notice anything. but i think im staying where its warm. besides, i'd have to get gas too! lol
imho the msd's are probably close to stock performance. if i remember the granetelli's (sp?) had a small issue with interference?

e-bay was actually a few bucks cheaper after shipping than it was for oem replacement from napa. it has to be slightly better than oem so it wasnt too bad. i think it was $86 shipped each? napa was 96 and that was oem replacement.

Yeah the MSD's were 76+shipping on ebay and then there was a set of accels on ebay for 144+shipping. All froms stores so im assuming there there the whole time. I think im goign to get a set. Im running nice plugs and wires and the coils have 180000 on them. Even thought there not shot i think they could use some help.

Havn't heard much from ya lately. Hows the lightning swap going. Im getting ready for my PI head swap. Just have to find an intake manifold.

long blocks done, have an issue with the coolant passage on intake and head not matching up on p/s head in the very back. having that fixed and i'm having an issue with the cam gears i was told to get not seeming correct for the aftermarket cams.

other than that, i'm ready to atleast swap the motor and start the other fun parts of the swap.

i been busy with my newborn kid too shes awesome.

cops and coil packs are different lol. well atleast now you have someone who has made a comparison to 2 of the aftermarkets, and i think neal or jmc has wrote about the interferrence caused by the granetellis. so it sounds like MSD is a sound choice over oem.

thanks guys, means a lot.

Who's had good luck with Accel's - I have down 3 bad reports on those (COP's Only) .. 0 positive posts.. It's not just one that goes south , it's like 3 or 4 shortly after install.. They have the worst record to date..
