Injector change question

Has any one changed injectors from the stock flow to a higher flow rate? From what I gather the stock rate is 19lbs/hr. The extra horsepower I expect to make calculates out to about 26-28lbs/hr for the flow I need. Can I expect any horsepower gain/throttle crispness from just replacing the stockers before the mods start? How about tuning the engine with a tuner?

You wont see any power from just bigger injectors. You will need a custom tune to run them so you will get more HP with that.
What mods are you doing and are you putting a blower on it?

i put 24# injectors on my 2001 5.4 and they helped a great deal more part throttle torque and hp and a bit better peak numbers.

the stock fuel pump was able to handle them. Troyer did my tunes via email and the truck ran great.

I've got a tuner picked out to optimize things along with the rear gear change. It's going to have the bolt ons but no supercharger. I've always been a n/a tuner.

I'm thinking of 26lbs/hr units.
