Underdrive Pulley Install question
Jut got my shipment from Summit Racing. Nice set of 3 pulleys for my 03 Expedition. also adding a new Gatorback belt.
The instructions indicate: "Replace timing cover oil seal". No further information or comment.
Did anyone else replace the seal? If so, how and why? Most of the UD pulley posts (I searched) did not mention replacing the seal.
Also, the instructions did not say anything about the RTV sealant on the keyway, although many posts do and my Hayes manual mentions it too. Not sure I understand where exactly to put the RTV.
If you guys could help me with these two questions I'd appreciate it. I hope to take some pics along the way and do an install post as a follow up.

i have an 03 boss f150 and i can answer one of your ?'s.. put the RTV on after you take of the balancer pulley in the keyway on the motor its a real thin cut.. also make sure you get the key in the keyway before you start to tighten down.. hunge problems will happen otherwise
