Lightbulb headers

hi im planing on buying headers but i dont know what kind i should get. Are they easy enough to put on your self or do u have to get it done. Im new with all the header info and out put. What is the out come putting them on i have a 97 with a 4.6. Should i get them or is it a waste.

Most will say get them. Get long tubes for best performance not shorties. Shorties, from what I've read, have basically the same output as your manifolds. I think Pacesetter makes a set for a 4.6. Majority of the ones I see are for the 5.4. You can buy nearly any variation of coatings if you had a 5.4 instead of the 4.6....my predicament.

I think it may hurt your lowend torque .
it will however give you some on the top end, it depends on what you're trying to achieve

it wont hurt you down low... get longtubes if you can find them
