Gauges

I recently bought a 99 f150 and the gauges dont work well, i think the speedonometer works good but the gas needle never seem to move stays on a half tank, was wondering what might be affecting the gauges?

I wish mine would stay at half a tank - it drops like a rock at that point

Need more info - just the tank gauge ?

As far as the gas gauge, the fuel sender could be broken or the float could be stuck against the side of the tank

I have a 94 Bronco that has about the same problem. The temp gauge maxes out (past H) although the engine is running at the right temp. The fuel gauge never goes all the way to F and it drops fast. I was wondering if there is some kind of regulator on the backside of the gauge cluster that is bad.
