People are going to give you too many different opinions about which one is best.

It comes down to preferrence. After all the research I've done, I have decided to go with the AF1.

I agree - the filter design is much better than the K&N. But tunes are crucial to take advantage of the AF1's flow. It pulls air in from the outside and thru the middle . K&N's design is outdated IMO. - Pulls just from the outside..

any ideal what tuning needs to change I have the superchips flashpac 1815
I also have 2 1/2 true dual exhaust with all cats

I was wondering if adding a bigger mass air flo sensor and housing and or throttle body spacer would be worth the $$

No Idea. Ask that superchip question in the tuner forum.

Thottle body spacers = nothing in return. Unless your motor is built - head work , headers etc.. - You won't need a bigger MAF IMO..

You may also want to consider a dry washable filter..so you dont get filter oil corrupting your mass air flow.

From: LOUISIANA,
Im ordering my AF1 + Troyer tuned monday. I had a AF1 on my 02 Screw with 130000 miles on the AF1 system an inside my MAF was as clean as new, just dont over oil the filter and you will have no problems..IMO
