What spark plus & trans fluid should I use?

I'm changing my spark plugs and trans fluid this weekend and I just wanted to know if there are any high performance spark plugs instead of the generic Ford plugs that I should use. Also what type of high performance trans fluid should I use? 2005 F150 4.6L V8

Save your dough for actual high performance stuff, plugs and tranny fluid do not show this. Motorcraft plugs are great, Denso too I believe. Start messing around with hotter plugs when adding blowers or nitrous, otherwise leave it. Tranny fluid? Anything Mercon V approved.

Ricers and queers like that believe in fluid horsepower and high performance spark plugs. I have Motorcraft regular 460 plugs in a 650 hp 514 ci engine, why would I need anything different, maybe it's a bit hotter spark than a stock 1975 460 originally had, I dunno.

The fact your changing these things is in itself the best performance it needs

Stock Motorcraft platinum plugs or Denso Iridium and any Mercon V you want, full synthetic if you so desire.

Yup!! ^^^ I agree..I can't beleive how much cooler my trans runs with Amsoil - It's worth the extra $$$ - AND , this trans has over 230,000 on it. Hits the gears without a pause.... I tuned the trans with hardware but still, the temp change blew my mind with Amsoil..

If you do switch over to Amsoil fluid, I recommend you do a complete replacement, not just a pan drop, to get the full benefits.
