Hello New to the forum i just bought a 1999 f150XL and starts fine but when i put it in drive it sounds like it want to shut off like its not getting enough fuel or the idle is too low. When I tap the gas pedal fast it shuts out and have to restart again. If i gradually press the gas it goes and fine after that just the start point im trying to sort out.

I did a complete service spark plugs, wires, oil, oil filter, fuel filter, clean air fliter.

I have an airraid intake an a gibson short back exuast system.

Clean or replace your IAC (idle air control) valve.
