Problem changing #2 plug

Back in the summer i changed my plugs & COPs all but one.I made the mistake of taking all the COPs out if 1 thru 4. Well when I was taking #3 COP out the bottom boot was stuck on plug.So I tryed to remove it with pliers A piece riped off and fell in #2 hole.I was allready hot and discouraged instead of stopping and fishing it out I tryed to take the plug out with piece of rubber still in there.MISTAKE,,,now the rubber is wedged between plug & cylinder enough that I cant get socket to bite.I have tryed coat hanger with wd-40.I would appreciate any ideas.

Try a 90 degree pick, or if you've got access to compressed air, try blowing the remains of the boot out the plug well. And next time, when the boot gets stuck in the well, grab a hold of it with some needle nose pliers and twist to get it to break free. Just pulling straight up will usually cause them to break.

There is a snake you can get that may grab on to it and pull it out. I have been trying to find a pic to explain what I'm talking about, but, can't find it for the life of me now.

They work with routing wires under carpet, so, I would hope it would have enough bite to pull the rubber out.

I will keep looking for a pic. Maybe you know what I'm talking about.

Good Luck!!!

I tryed a 90 degree pick the 1 I used was not long enough.I purchased them at wallmart stanley only about 7 inches. Oh and also I found away to remove boots now. Just drive a 3/8 extension in boot pulls off no problems now.
