How much oil 99 5.4 with oil cooler

How much oil 99 5.4 with oil cooler

I'm guessing 7 because i have put 6 in it and it looks about 1 quart low

7 quarts thats what mine takes, I'm assuming yours would be the same.

99s would have been 6 quarts for the 5.4. The 7 quarts did not start until 04.
Put in 6 quarts, run the engine for a minute, let it drain down, and check it. If it is in the cross hatch area, ity is full.

If I change the filter and put 6 quarts in mine, it comes about 1/3 of the way up the crosshatches. I leave it alone till it drops below the add oil line then put in the 7th quart. When it gets down to the add line again, it's time for an oil change.

I put 7 in and its right where it needs to be are yalls filters up in front of the left front tire close to the bumper? This truck has the work truck package and towing package

Mines a 2000 5.4 and I'm at just under 6 1/2 Litres with a filter change, what that is in quarts I'm not sure, but I believe a litre is a little more than a quart.
