that edge on extreme takse it to the limit, it would have gone to second if i had let it

No burn outs for me, tires are way too expensive to burn away 25,000 miles worth of rubber in 10 seconds.

My truck will just get a quick squeal off the back wheels if I nail it from a stop on dry pavement. The 5.8 is a big, lazy motor. It doesn't like to spin up real fast, and the 3.55 LS axle doesn't help it.

I agree. I have 285/45/22's on mine and they ain't cheap!!

well this is usually done right before you go get new tires

My problem is that I don't drive my truck a lot, so mine will probably dry-rott before they wear down.
