try to get some anhydrous alcohol, IPA, etahnol even methanol- it mixes with the water and the mixture is combustible. HEET is expensive alcohol

Btw, Texaco stations are the only one's with their own brand of gas and Sunoco, Shell, and Citgo being the better of all the others out there.
that statement is incorrect.......
here is a quote from one of the threads above, if you need more info ask.....

3.What is in the additives that make Shell different from Sunoco and Citgo?
most branded fuel have their own additive. ie a tanker pulls up and pumps the
additive in to a tank. when i load, i select the the brand of gas i want to load and it adds it to the fuel as i load. so again ask the additive maker.

4. Are you saying that Pepsi is the same as Coke because their water comes from the same place?
After all it is just a small shot of additives to the water that make the difference.
while you make a good point, the people i talk to who test fuel for quality ect... buy the cheapest gas from a station that has a filter (most do) and a fairly good pump rate (pumps a lot of gas) and put in seafoam ect.... or the additive of choice. that way you know you are getting some type of additive in your tank
.

Water will seperate ethonal out of gas, so then you will have layers of alcohol and gas. Some things don't like to run on alcohol that well, I know our tractors don't. We tried E10 when it first came out, since we never fill them up all the way condensation sets in after they sit for a little while and all you drain out of the carb is alcohol when it won't run. Something about 6.x:1 compression just doesn't agree with it...

I also have fuel line freezing issues in the winter in my Ranger with E10, I am no longer a fan of the stuff.

thanks, i thought so......... but some folks take longer to get it i guess, it either blows their mind -ie
"you haul all types of fuel in the same tanker?"

"yes, it is all shipped from the refinery in the same pipe also "-

some just simply refuse to believe....that is ok to......

oh, i can play nice.......... or not.... just don't give me chicken **** and expect chicken salad in return
