engine question

engine question

okay been awhile since i posted here anyway i finally got moving on working on my truck this weekend to get everything together but i was putting the transmission back in me 87 ford f-150 yesterday well the motor is tilted back a little bit if i put it level the transmission wont line up tilted back it will when i pulled the motor i thought it was level does anyone have an old f-150 they can look and see if it sits level? or do i need to push it up with he jack and pull the mounts tight?
by the way its the 5.0

Most longitudinal engines sit higher in front than in back.

While I dont have the truck anymore I do recall the engine in them is a bit angled. if you get all the bolts in and get them tight you got it right. Theyll only go in one way..

yea id guess about 90% of them are leaned to the back since the rear end is much lower then flywheel.

Ive got one up at school i can take pics of if it will help you.

I dont remember what motor it is, but its huge, its actually in a F250

okay thats what i need to know so i can now start putting the front end back together after i get the drive shaft back in and go order my new fill tube for the trans. after that its just vac lines and electrical conections
