Found a vaccume leak, need some information...

In my quest to find the reason for the egr codes on a 1994 f150,. 5.0, I found a vaccume leak. It's a white vaccume line from the firewall that goes to what appear to be a pump that opens a door for the airconditioner. I did notice over the summer I was having a problem with the air blowing from my a/c.

I'm definitly going to get this fixed. I was wondering could this leak cause the codes or the engine not to run correctly?

Thanks Brian nc

Had the same issue with the same colored hose.

Until I get ambitious enough to replace it, I just capped it off, then wired the damper in the position I want it.
