Wow. I found the thread on your rebuild but i only read like 12 pages. I probably won't even attempt to read all 40 some odd pages. but i liked what i read. did you finally work out all the bugs? and is that a 5.4 as well? did you have a special place to get all of those components or was it a few different places? do you at know how much that engine cost? (just curious) whats your output now?

Got that right. Many old timers round here will do that on a RWD car or truck and get by just fine. I got 4WD since I got a kid that I drive around in the winter times plus factory height is taller with 4WD version.

how many PSI do you have in ur tires built i know the drag cars before they race have like 10PSI in there tires so they grip. also i know shocks/suspenion chages adds tracration.. i donno ive heard of some cars that can't grip because of so much HP and they add alot of weght on the rear axle and even thoe its more weght they run faster times because they grip. you prob know more about this than i do just giving you some tips that im sure you alredy knew. just tryin to help ya out buddy

running lower than the recommended pressure in a street tire does more harm than good. I Have slicks for when i race, but im not running those every day
