i hate my truck now

ok i have changed my plugs, the boots and springs on the coils and my truck still has bad hesition when i going down the road, around 30 60 its reall bad but i dont know what to do iam frustratedits a 2001 4.6

around 30 or 60 just cruising or acclerating? you change the fuel filter or clean the MAF?

it does when iam doing both yeah i changed the fuel filter but didnt clean the maf

When u say u replaced the boots im guessing u mean u replaced the plug wires make sure u routed the wires right.

2001 should be COP. Replace the whole COP, not just the boot. 96 bucks shipped for a full set from Global on eBay.

That's got my vote. ^^^^^^

BUT - He could have the wrong plugs in there - answer "shifty 85's" question corey, just to make sure..

yeah i reaplaced them with ngk plugs iridium, ok if it one of the cops then i do i know wich one its is, yeah i replaced the boot and spring on the cops it has a little ove 105 thousands miles and no it not showing a check engine code, my friends think it the programer i out on my truck but i dont think its that

If you think it is a bad tune from the programer, try returning to stock and see if it still has the problem.

What programer do you have?

just because your check engine light isnt on doesnt mean there isnt a pending code. without scanning your truck all your doing is guessing.

i dont have COP's but when my truck mis fired under a load it didnt throw a misfire code bc it was fireing just at like 1/4 spark so the computer thought everything was fine. but when i mentiond the plugs i had in my truck the guy at autozone said it was the plugs *i had bosch plugs someone at murrys talked me into geting them* but i replaced the bad plugs after only 10,000 miles with autolites and no more probs!! but NGK is good plug so i dont think its that

i already checked it on my programer its the super max micro tuner it was doing it before i put the program on there and i checked it the dtc ready on it and there are no trouble codes
