The best cost no object = Denso Iridium

The best with cost in mind = Motorcraft.

Gap is 0.05x

If the choice is between platinum and iridium, I'd take iridium.

Note that the plugs Troyer sells are the Denso Iridiums.

sorry but good old copper plugs work the best they are inexpensive and these great super cunductive snake oil plugs out there especially the ones with mitliple paths for spark are a joke. they will work until a little carbon builds wich will be about 5 minutes then they electricity will do what it always does find the path of least resistance and give spark there. hence good old copper! just my .02

Copper plugs are not recommended for the Ford OHC mod motors and OHV 4.2 V6's. Run them all you want in the old 4.9 I6 and 5.0/5.8/7.4 OHV V8's, those do work best in those engines.

The best plugs for your motor are either Motorcraft or Autolite. You cant run just any old sparkplug in your motor, you need plugs that are designed for DIS (distribtorless ignition systems).
If you use some cheap copper plugs, it wont run right.
