well my check engine light came on today on my way home from school. its a p0401 which is an EGR system fault. anyone know what i should do to fix this? the truck seems to be running fine. i just want that annoying light gone

that didn't completely answer it , but it gives ya some ideas

 

clean the DPFE and the EGR we can do it this weekend.

 

Don't forget the EGR ports in the throttlebody
