Can anyone give me recommendation for shop or dealer in Houston area for repair of blown plug. Someone who will do it right for reasonable cost. Thanks

 

O man, I hope you didnt try to do a change yourself..... You might wanna search too theres a mobile company that does it for 500 a plug.

 

I don't know your mechanical capabilites, but this is very repairable yourself!! Do a search on here for "Time-Sert". It is a D-I-Y repair and it is permanent. Not a heli-coil job. Look for post from me also. If you are not the D-I-Y type, when you start calling shops, ask if they are going to use a Time-Sert to fix it. If the reply is "A Time-what???" Hang up the phone and continue shopping!!
