maf sensor and tb cleaning

maf sensor and tb cleaning

i have a 01 5.4l with 70k miles on it i was wondering is there a need to clean my throttle body and maf sensor always clean the air filter about every 1k miles

If the throttlebody has never been cleaned, I'm sure there is some carbon build up in it. The MAF probably has some dirt on it too. Read about both before cleaning if you have never done it before.

There is a really nice search feature here on this board located mid right on the tool bar. Those topics I'm sure have been discussed at length many times.

I use Deep Creep (aresol version of SeaFoam) to clean my throttle body.This stuff is awesome!

+1 Deep Creep works great on the IAC as well..
