Cleaning the Engine

Tell me how.

I have a pretty nasty, muddy mess under the hood that needs to be addressed

I used a power washer on my last truck...i'll never do that again

using a power washer is as simple as selecting the proper nozzle. most of them come with 4-5 nozzles for different stuff. for a car i wouldnt use anything larger than a 3000 PSI machine with the most open nozzle. I work for a tractor supply store, ive seen people come in thinking they can buy a 6000 PSI washer on their car/ truck... i tell them "sure if you are wanting to repaint it."

Just pull the housing cover and Intake - wrap the COP's in a towel.

Protect those COP's!!

That's nasty, your best off using a bucket of soap & water, & a wash mitt, using a hose however no nozzle, set the fawcett on a low level of water pressure.............
