I'm watching Extreme Aircraft on Modern Marvels, & they stated that the F-35 fighter quite possibly will be the last manned fighter built piloted by a human........The next Generation fighters will be unmanned drones! I find this stuff fascinating.............

That ain't gonna happen for a while yet..... stlil many orders of magnitude away from the processing power necessary to completelyy mimic human thought processes, decision-making, ituition, prescience, etc, etc. Expert systems, fuzzy logic, massively parallel /grid computing and all the rest ain't gonna cut it - yet.

 

Watch the movie, "Terminator 3: Rise of the machines" and your facination will most likely turn to aprehension.
