it loopes when ideling, it cuts off if you goose it, very touchy from dead stop. Help

 

check you MAF. make sure its plugged in right

 

I assume that MAF is Mass Air Flow sensor?

 

yes. mine did the same thing whenever i forgot to hook it back up putting my CAI on

 

Used Car Section-Awsom job guys. Just recently purchesed it. When I bought it the check engine light was on. I realized that the oil was a quart low and the brakes were makin noise. I went back on last day of 3 day grace period and told them about all the stuff. Dropped it off yesterday, Thursday 25 Oct 07, and they replaced/repaired brakes at all corners and changed oil. This is standard practice and I think it is required by law that the brakes are supposed to be certified by dealership. Anyway, I asked them to run diag and I would pay for it and the manager said you should have told us that the check engine light was on when you bought it. He said we'll check it out and get back with ya. I told him if you don't fix it just give me the code and I will fix it myself and pay for the diag. They even give me loaner for day. So they call say it is ready. I go and get it and they have fixed ALL at N/C. I was like WOW so cool. Here is the code it gave: "P0506 Engine Idle too low performed pin point tests monitored PIDS TPS Sensor faulty replaced throttle body assy cleared code and test drove OK at this time"
