Need help with moisture in plug.

Ok so here I am putting my third plug in 30k miles and really want to know what are the fixes for this? I am getting moisture down in the plug hole when it rains or is very moist outside in the early AM. I am tired of changing plugs to keep it running right.

2000 Ford EB Expy with a 5.4

I love this thing but this **** is getting on my nerves and my MPG suffers bad for it.

Im sure someone on here has had this problem so please chime in and help!!

i have a 1997 F-150 4.6L 2wd and when i go threw alot of mud or water and it lands on the engine my truck misfires and i have to go get an air gun and blow out the water from my spark plug chambers almost every time i go mudding. lol a few of my crazy friends have C-foamed there spark plug chambers so they get nothing at all down there. and i think i had this prob yesterday when it was raining all the sudden under a load my truck would miss. it was only one plug thoe so i messed with the wire a lil bit pulled it off pulled the plug out cleaned it up wiggled the wire on differnt and it ran fine today in the rain. im not sure how to stop this i always thought the wires made a perfect seal on the heads....guess i was wroge. witch plug do u have to keep replaceing?

I have to keep replacing the 3rd plug back on the passenger side. I was thinking of using some sort of silicone on it to help it seal?? I dont wanna hurt anything though.

Have you confirmed it is just water and not coolant? The #3 plug is under the heater hoses and they can leak into the plug.

I had the same problem and was getting coolant in the spark plug holes, it was suggested that the intake manifold gasket was leaking. I put some stop leak in the radiator and seems to have stopped the leak so far. Temporary fix for now. I was having to blow out the plug holes on differing cylinders, as when wet it caused a misfire.
