Running lean?

Ive got a lean code, on my 97 4.6l f150 and I was told it is probably cause of a vaccum leak

and now ive got a gas in my oil! Is this cause of a vaccum leak or are my rings fried. Ive been reading and most people say it is my pcv elbow leaking. Im no mechanic and am not really sure where this little guy is. Does anyone have a picture for me to look at. I really need help.

Thanks

1. Slow down and take a deep breath.
2. Why don't you post your code here. There are many of us that are willing to help.
3. Could be the PCV hose located at the very back of the engine on the intake. Usually deteriorates over time until it clogs and/or gets a hole in it.

I got those two that just popped up this past Saturday.

I have 3 ideas to what could have caused it..if they don't fix it then I have no clue.

1. MAF sensor is dirty
2. Vacuum leak.
3. I have a pretty good size exhaust leak so that could also be causing it.

Fix the vacuum leak.

Change your oil ASAP.

You'll be fine. The fuel in the oil is because the engine is running pig-rich and the extra fuel is getting past the rings and into the oil. Fix the mixture problem and the root cause is solved.
