Noise is coming from front of engine, sounds external. I would best describe it as a belt whine. It is present from the time of start up and increases when RPM's increase. Does not matter if engine is cold or warm, always present. Maybe a little more noticable when engine is cold but again always present.

I would think it would be something from the serpentine (sp?) belt or something asscociated with it (bearing, tensioner, etc.). Anyone else had this problem? If so how did you track it down.
