what would be cheaper..... rebuild my 5.4 and put a turbo on it or do a lightning swap? i can get a rotating assembly for about $2,000 and easily spend another 3 grand on other parts and machine work. or what about a lightning engine with a turbo instead of a blower? i have a turbo car and i'm kind of partial to turbos bucause you don't waste power, it's all power gained.

You probably would be better off installing the turbo than going w/ the Lightning engine. What I've started seeing is guys removing their superchargers and installing turbos on the Lightnings. They say they fly,I believe it.Plus you stated you've had more experience w/ the turbo systems,I say stay w/ what you know and what works for you. Hope this helped, good luck which ever way you go.
