Motor knock

I have a `04 F150 SCrew with 65000 miles just off extended warranty. The problem seems to be after starting it seems to knock and goes away but valves are noisy any ideas??

I went to the dealer with this problem and they told me its just the 3 valve design and its normal. but if its getting really loud them you have a problem.
Its kinda cool cause it kinda sounds like a diesel
