Your truck has electronic throttle control.
If you took the drive assembly apart, you got something messed up.
Why are we cleaning this on such a new truck without a a DTC code as a reason to do so?

P2106 is an informational DTC. It's set when the PCM sees something is wrong; it doesn't know what to do, so it defaults to a known good operating pattern (in this case, forced idle/no power so it doesn't stick wide open, sending you careening into trees, other cars, or off a cliff) until it's fixed.
You'll very rarely, if ever, see P2106 alone, there's should be another DTC in there - usually something like P2110, 2111, 2101, and a few others that'll get you a better idea of what went wrong to cause the PCM to go into reduced power mode. If you're using a built in scan tool that comes with a tuner, you may not be able to retrieve all DTCs.
