2007 F150 SuperCab 4x4 4.6L Hum

Hey guys,

2007 Brand spankin new 2 miles on the thing. I got about 250 miles now but - since it was brand new when I accelerate just slightly there is a hum / whistle sound. I almost think it is coming from the intake, it definately sounds like a vaccuum leak, so if it is just a relatively too small intake availablility or what, but has anyone else heard this?

It is not associated with the RPM of the engine, nor with truck speed. I hear the same noise at 2mph as at 30. not matter the gear.

It does it VERY slightly in park, but mainly in drive with the empty truck as a load.

Has anyone else experienced this sound? Anyone have a clue what it is or how to look for a solution or even if there is a problem??

I have a 2007 F-150 Supercrew 4X4 4.6L and I have experienced the same sound. I also only hear it when I am accelerating. I have had the truck a month now and take it in for the 1,000 mile check next week, I plan on asking about it then. Not sure what it is but I'm getting the same sound. If you find out what it is let me know.
