What would code 153 and 401 be on 98 expi 4x4 with the 4.6 engine be?
Any ideas where to start of what to change or what to check?
Thank you all

I do not know off hand but the easiest and free way of doing it is just go to auto zone and have them run their code reader. They will then tell you what the code means and what needs to be done to fix it.

I would remove the passenger side inner fender well and check the wiring on that O2 - The AC drain line could be leaking on wires - there has been a TSB on that. The hose rubes a hole in itself over time. Also your heater core lines could be leaking in that area as well. Just make sure it isn't getting wet. A good indication that it is - is if your starter wires are wet - take a look..

BTW - You should replace those O2's every 60 thousand miles. At least the front ones...

401 - totally different problem , most likely the DPFE - maybe a plugged throttle body port..

+ 1 on Steve's posts , usually can pin it if you search it out.
