Hello all hope everyone is having a great big o night. Now to what i need help with i have a great 1997 f150 with a 4.6 and i have got a 2002 5.4 motor,trans,cp and wiring harness can anyone let me know what i am in for before i jump in? I

Yea , its work lol - sounds like you have everything - Look up posts by JMC for info and write-ups or maybe someone else will chime in - easy swap , you'll need a tune unless you have the computer from the doner.

Hello i am swapping out my 1997 4.6 with a 2002 5.4 can i get the 2002 edge to work with my 1997 cp or do i need to use the cp from the 2002 5.4??

 

use the 5four comp - you have a 4r70w in both trucks ?

most likley - I'm pretty sure the 5four comp is the best bet. Might have probs if the 5four doner had a 4r100 trans unless you use that as well - I would - better trans...
