Starting Trouble?

the other day i noticed when i went to start my truck cold it sounded like the battery was weak. the longer i let it sit the harder it is to start. it barely started this morning and i dont know if the battery is slowly losing a charge or the alternater is slowly going. the starter is less than 6 months old. i have 101000mi on it. it starts up fine after i drive it but when it sits over night its hard starting. it getting worse please help. 2002 4.6 101000mi

Drive to Autozone and have them check the battery..........

I've noticed that the guages do a full sweep when turning the key, not sure if it's as soon as the key hits "on" or cranking or if it's just after it fires but watch for it. I'd be willing to guess you need a new one just by yrs and mileage. Better too early than too late.

If your not getting the little battery light on your dash when the truck is running that means that your alternator is still charging, so I would just get your battery checked out to be sure thats it, and go from their.
