hello all!! I have a 97 F150 XL with a 4.2L Engine and a manual transmission. I was wandering if anybody out there knows if there is any V8 out there that I could put in it without having to change the transfer case and transmission. I've heard possibly a 460.

 

The Mazda transmission probably can't handle anything stronger than a 302 or 4.6.

 

Use the search function and I think you'll find this one's been discussed many times. I won't say the 460 swap is impossible, but it's pretty darn close.
