I'm planning to get a new 2007 or 2008 Ford pick-up. Is the spark plug problems (Blown Plug, Breaking plug in Head) fixed by Ford? Thanks.

 

The blown plug has never been an issue with the 5.4 after 2003. It remains to be seen about the broken off in the head problem. Ford claims they are putting anti seize on the shank and solved the problem. Won't know until some are changed. Regardless, most are having sucess by following the TSB and are able to get the plugs out without breaking them.
