2007 f150 4.6L engine upgrades ???

This thread could be put in a few diffferent catagories but pretty much just about the engine it self. I just bout my second truck 07 fx2 with the 4.6 and i want more power. As of now ive got an exhaust system duals from cats back with an x pipe then duals out the sides. also i am looking to buy TB spacer, cold air intake, since it is the 4.6 and its a truck it has a different intake then the mustang so as far as i know there is not a S/C that would bolt up, so im lookin for an alternitive possibly a turbo. I would like to know how possible this would be too do and work properly, with a fully intercooled system. also im also looking into a tuner or chip for the truck but im not sure what other kinda of after marked engine work i can/ and would lie to do. If anyone would like to make suggestion/ positive suggestions feel free too.
thank you D.J.

Hey D.J., welcome to the site!

First, don't waste money on a TB spacer, they do nothing for these trucks, just a noisemaker..

One place you should check out is www.troyerperformance.com

They have several different package deals for the things you're looking into.. Not sure about blowers for the 4.6, but their phone # is there on the site and they're very friendly and knowledgable.. they specialize in F150's... anything from just a better ride on the street to full-blown drag mods...

I've ordered the Xcal 2 from them and can't wait for it to arrive.. the folks on here who run his tunes swear by 'em..

Just my .02, there'll be other opinions from those that know more than I do!!

By the time you get done, it would be cheaper to trade the truck in on one with a 5.4....
