Nothing Happens
Totally fixed
It was the transmission range sensor.....if anyone has issues with this, here is what I ran into. One, if your book calls it a transmission range sensor than that's what the hell it is. The issue is that a lot of people in the automotive industry shouldn't have a job at mcdonalds. They like to call it a neutral safety switch. Those are for the stone age. The transmission range sensor monitors the selected gear as a safety switch does and sends that info to the pcm so it won't start out of N or P, but it also determines when it is safe for the transfer case to lock or unlock into 4Lo, and gives "permission" to the motor on the transfer case to switch inot or out of 4Lo. Auto zone was the cheapest. 36 bucks, opposed to everyones elses 65, and Fords 75! Also the one that broke was 12 prongs for the clip, you only need 11 because the clip from the pcm only has 11 of the holes wired up anyways so don't freak out. And if the damn thing don't wanna slide off, apply a little lube, and don't be nice to it. As long as you don't damage the linkage above, or break the switch that protrudes from the tranny. Witch is really tough anyways, so get it off.
Thanks for everyones responses, and hope this helps anyone with future issues! NO PAVEMENT, NO PROBLEM!

Shaft was first to be fixed. Mechanical is real easy, it's electrical that trips me up at first. Picked up a good one at a local shop for 80 bucks. Ford wanted 470!!!! Seems like it has more...not power...but it's more solid at the higher speeds now, but it might be my imagination. Just from 40-70 where it seems like the truck has to actually try to get up there, it just glides up like i'm being pushed. wierd, but I'm not complaining.
