Skipping runnin bad

I have a 97 f150 it is skipping really bad I changed the fuel filter cleaned the air filter(K&N) it is getting worse, now the radio is ticking with the rpm. When the rpm goes up the ticking gets faster and louder. NEED ADVICE. I think it is the plugs but not sure, I had them changed about 60,000 miles ago.
Thx Dale

Which engine? If it's a 4.2 or a 4.6 I'd replace the plug wires.

Most likely a coil. Wait for it to set a code then get it read to see which cylinder it is.
Just had the same thing happen and heard it on the radio first.

I wouldn't replace just one COP - I'd get a full set from Global for 96 bucks.
