02 sensors

While monitoring my 02 sensors on my 07 F150 5.4l with a Dashhawk, I notice that on banks 1 and 2 sensor 1, the levels jump wildly from 50mv to 900mv, but on banks 1 and 2 sensor 2, the levels are much more level and sit around 600-900mv depending on throttle position.
Is this normal or might I have a sensor problem? Dashhawk problem?

Any info appreciated

Thanks
Jeff

I may have found the answer to my own question.
Would the 1st sensors be of the switching type and placed before the catalytic converters and the 2nd ones be non switching and placed behind the converters?
