Evr?

Can anyone point me to a place that sells the EVR valve solenoid thingys for a 97 F150 4.6? I cant seem to find any.... Carquest,NAPA, Advance????

i think that is the avrev for EGR vacumm regulator. On my 97 looking at the firewall it is just above and to the left of the brake booster, has a flex line to the EGR. It think anyway

That may be true, Stephen, but there could be someone esle with the same question/problem and now they know they could contact jbrew for a replacement.

Yea - Exhaust -Vacuum - Regulator (EVR). For those who weren't aware. That long foam filter gets dirty just under the cap - But those usually don't go bad unless you F with em. It supplies the air to the EGR valve after commanded by your PCM . The air supplied opens the valve for a couple seconds or so, if the valve isn't stuck or the diaphragm isn't punctured.

I bought those in a bulk of 5 off eBay awhile back - 3 left..

Not according to Ford thru ALLData.com.. But I've seen it called that as well..

On the Ford DVD it has -



So I guess your right..
