Fan Clutch Storage

Hey Guys,

I just ordered my Troyer electric fans for my 03 5.4 today and I have a question regarding my clutch fan when it's been removed. I thought I read on here somewhere that it must be stored a certain way or it will be ruined. If so does anyone know the proper way to do this. Thanks.

Ya, mine made it into a box, but I have no idea where it went from there, don't care.

The correct way to store a fan clutch is to lay it flat, radiator side down.

The rest of you guys should have thought ahead a little more. Instead of tossing those stock clutches away you should have sold them and used the cash to offset the cost of your projects.
