thats not what my whole assembly looks like but that is how my erg is connected. and that bolt is stuck in there

i can try. its really tight though. i took the whole intake off and it was still hard to get in there

Spin that big nut off the tube - Biga$$ pipe wrench and cheater bar will get her loose for sure..

Get it up on the bench and work on it..

That huge EGR nut ? Is that what you have been talking about all along?

You won't strip that - not with a pipe wrench, that's how they get em loose at the dealership..

i already stripped it.lol as soon as my truck cools off im gonna go back out and try to get it off

got it!! and i feel really dumb. i stripped out the socket, not the bolt.

damn never seen anyone strip out a socket before in something like that lol. harbor freight tools??

Go over to Sears and get that socket replaced. That's what the lifetime warranty is for.

Hmm - you sure you weren't trying to use a standard socket on a metric nut or vice versa? "Almost right" doesn't count here.......
