Link to TSB

sorry guys ive tried to search but i cant find a link to the tsb regarding the pcm and how updating it can help reduce the hesitation/jerk sensation during accerlation. if anyone could help that would be great

What are you talking about ? I have most of the TSB's and the links at the top of the page . As far as I know , there isn't a TSB like that. What are you driving and where did you get this info?

I found the one I needed and had the Ford dealer do it. Little digging but the dealer did burn for $65 and no diagnostic fee. One thing you have to have is the TSB info.

How do you know if you need a firmware revision?

If you find a TSB that fits the description of the problem and you confirm the problem the only repair could be a reprogram and the TSB would direct you to the correct number. Really what the info on the Motorcraft site is for, is downloading the new program. You can buy your own linking device at www.obd2.com. [man I wish Quintin or Steve/ProjectSHO would kick in here, its been a few years since I delt with this]
