will only start after a good rest
Hi All -
Have you run into this???..90% of the time truck fires right up, once in a while after I've been driving I'll turn it off then turn it on again within 0-40 minutes and it barely idles as soon as you try to give it a little gas it dies. but if you let it sit for another 0-30 minutes it will fire right up like nothing ever happend.....So far done the following:
1) Taken to dealer no codes tripped
2) Fuel pump pressure is fine
3) Fuel injectors cleaned, fuel filter replaced
4) Air filter replaced
5) Dealer had no idea
Thoughts?????

MAF's getting dirty and throwing bogus signals to the PCM when hot.

Thx JBREW
Thanks for the information I'll give that a try. I am suprised the dealer wouldn't try something like that considering I dropped $400 getting the fuel injectors cleaned, Fuel Filter replaced and left it with them for 4 days....
